The MU Veterinary Health Center and their Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory is the only accredited diagnostic laboratory in Missouri and one of only five in the midwest. It handles more than 51,000 diagnostic cases a year and serves all of Missouri's 114 counties and surrounding stated by performing approximately 167,000 diagnostic tests annually. MU handles equine, canine and feline cases.

The New England Equine Practice moved to their current location in Patterson, New York in 2007. In the new, 29,000 square foot hospital, we offer a complete range of equine veterinary services, including surgery, medicine, intensive care, isolation, nuclear scintigraphy, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), radiology, ultrasonography, reproduction, sports medicine, dentistry and ophthalmology.

Horse owners will find the top equine medicine specialists and most extensive surgical capabilities available for their animals at the Morrie Waud Large Animal Hospital at the University of Wisconsin. We offer primary, referral, and consultative services and provide routine, emergency, and intensive care 24/7—although referrals are not required. Our team of caring faculty, residents and nursing staff will evaluate each horse’s, pony’s, donkey’s or mule’s unique situation and discuss treatment options with you before putting a plan into action.
