Our Pet Patients Helped by IsoPet®

Jazper – canine

“Jazper has really been doing wonderful! You wouldn’t even really be able to tell he once had a massive soft tissue sarcoma on his elbow/leg area. The mass is COMPLETELY gone! When we touch that area it is pretty much completely flat which is an insane miracle compared to how that spot started out with the huge sarcoma. We are so very thankful that we found IsoPet and Dr. Krimins. We drove 12.5 hours each way twice. Thank you all so much again for treating our Jazper and saving his life.”

– Kristen Grochowski, pet parent

Cancer Type: Soft tissue sarcoma

Treatment Date: May & October 2024
Treatment Site: Johns Hopkins University

Moose – 9 year old canine

“Moose had 6 wonderful years after his IsoPet treatment for a soft tissue sarcoma at the University of Missouri. Thank you for giving us that time.”

– Pam Dawson, pet parent of Moose

Cancer Type: Soft Tissue Sarcoma

Single IsoPet® administered at the University of Missouri in 2018

Moose was a 6 year cancer survivor before passing away in 2024 of diabetes. Moose was also featured on CBS News to help bring awareness to pet cancer and the importance of early detection.

Summer Solstice

“She is doing very well. She gets ridden a lot and is doing well. ZERO signs of recurrence of the sarcoid. I will always be so grateful to you for all you did for Summer Solstice.”

– Barb, owner of Summer Solstice

Cancer Type: Equine Sarcoid on the back of neck

Single IsoPet® administered at the University of Missouri in 2021. Summer Solstice remains cancer free since 2021 with no signs of recurrence.

Brew – 11 year old canine

““Great success story. Brew and I thank you for his return to a more normal life.”

– Brew’s Pet Parent

Cancer Type: Soft Tissue Sarcoma – At 8 weeks post treatment Brew’s tumor had shrunk and at 15 weeks post-treatment there was no observed recurrence of tumor.

Brew was facing leg amputation but a single IsoPet® treatment in 2022

Francis – 12 year old canine

“I am beyond THRILLED”

– Francis’s pet mom

“I saw Francis today for a recheck. He looks great and mom is thrilled with how he is doing. The fur is growing back around the treated area. There is no skin sloughing, no skin damage.”

– Dr. Rebeca Krimins, DVM Johns Hopkins Hospital

Cancer Type: Carcinoma – left front leg, 3 weeks rapid growth before a single IsoPet® treatment in 2022 at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Oliver – 12 year old feline

Oliver had a previous tumor and a prior traditional cancer treatment left him with an amputated left hind leg to attempt to remove aggressive tumor. When another tumor surfaced on his other leg his pet parents contacted Johns Hopkins Hospital and performed IsoPet® Precision Radionuclide Therapy™ in 2022.

Cancer Type: sarcoma
The sarcoma in his leg, grew rapidly in less than 2 months and was successfully treated with one IsoPet® treatment.

Picture was taken post surgery while Oliver was resting at home and according to his pet parents he was very happy!

Drake – 11 year old feline

After several attempts and chemotherapy, Drakes pet parent travelled from Alaska to Vista Veterinary Hospital in Kennewick, WA.

Cancer Type: Spindle Cell Sarcoma – right side of the face by the nose

The owner is a Veterinarian and at 17 days following the IsoPet® treatment reported:

“There is a continuing decrease in the neoplastic mass. I suspect that some of the residual swelling is inflammatory in nature. The skin is intact, no ulceration or necrosis. Therapy was effective.”

– Drake’s pet parent and veterinarian

Annie – 10 year old canine

“She is doing really well, totally back how she was before we found the tumor. The tumor is fully gone now and the hair in that area has grown back, we didn’t see any side effects from the treatment at all. She can run and walk a few miles each day, eat well and happy. 😊”

– Annie’s Pet Parent

Cancer Type: Soft Tissue Sarcoma – on the paw of a Sheltie

A tumor at the same location on the toe was removed 3 years prior to IsoPet® treatment. When another tumor resurfaced they tried IsoPet® Precision Radionuclide Therapy™ – PRnT™ in 2021 and the tumor never resurfaced again and Annie has remained cancer free for 3 years before passing from an unrelated illness.

New Atlas – horse

“I am so grateful IsoPet® was an option to treat the sarcoid near Atlas’s eye. Even though it was a tricky location, the procedure was easy for him to handle, there was no wound aftercare, and he was able to return to his normal activities right away. It has been a little over three weeks since his treatment and I have already seen a dramatic reduction in the size of the mass, and I continue to see the sarcoid flattening more each time I go to the barn.”

– Sue Johnson, pet parent

Cancer Type: Recurring sarcoid

Treatment Date: January, 2025
Treatment Site: The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine
